What do I need to wear and know before booking?

You may wear what ever that is comfortable for you to the spa. Once you arrive s(he) will be provided the appropriate attire customized especially for you and your spa services, i.e. robe, wrap, and/or slippers. Once entering the service room for a massage and some facials, you will be asked to disrobe to your level of comfort. At no point will you be exposed. Once the service starts, only the body being worked on will be exposed then covered back up. At anytime if you start to feel uncomfortable with service, pressure, comfort, ETC., we ask that you communicate your concerns at anytime to service provider.

With the body scrubs and mud wraps, to obtain the maximum benefit from such specialized services, we recommend it is best to remove all clothing or bring swimwear bottoms because the products we use may stain your undergarments. In addition, your undergarments will end up wet when time to shower.

We recommend not shaving on the day that you will be receiving any service that involves exfoliation on the body (removal of dead skin cells) to decrease the risk of skin irritation or discomfort. Gentlemen, you will want to shave the morning of a facial.

For your safety when receiving a facial or waxing, please check with your doctor if you are using any of the following: Retin-A, Differin, Renova, Accutane, blood-thinning drugs, certain antibiotics or alpha hydroxy products, diabetes, pregnancy, hemophilia, skin conditions and auto-immune disorders as each are or can be a contraindication (not able to receive service).

Are walk-in clients accepted?

Yes, walk-in clients are welcome based on a space available basis. However, it is recommended that you call first to ensure that we are able to accommodate your needs.

What happens if I am late for my service time?

If you are late for your appointment, we will do all we can to accommodate you, however, Late arrivals, will be charged full payment amount for the remaining service time. If time allows, the client will have the option of accepting an abbreviated version of the scheduled service at no discount.

What is your COVID spa protocol?

TRANQUILITY Spa & Beauty understands the mandate for wearing mask is an option for many businesses. We take the health of our service providers and clients serious and require all service providers to wear mask and/or shields while working with clients. Clients entering the spa, we asked that you wear a mask and/or shield into the spa. When entering the service room, it is the discretion of the service provider(s) on whether (s)he would like the client to continue wearing his or her mask.

What if I have to cancel my services?

Cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice or no-shows will be charged the full payment of service.

What if I have to cancel our group party?

Cancellation within 48 hours of appointment time or no-shows will be charged the full payment of service. Cancellations greater than 48 hours will be charged the full deposit amount.

What is the protocol for booking appointments?

When scheduling your appointment, we require that you guarantee your reservation by providing us with a valid credit/debt card or a gift certificate number. Checks are not accepted.

What is your gift card policy?

Scheduled appointment being redeemed with gift card, a 24 hour cancellation prior to appointment time is required. Cancellation or No Show with less than 24 hours of notice, a $25 cancellation fee will be charged. NO CASH REFUNDS

Gift Cards expire six months of purchase date. Discounts, coupons and other price adjustments cannot be combined.

Is Gratuity included in the service price?

TRANQUILITY Spa & Beauty does not add gratuity to any service or gift card. The standard gratuity is 15% to 20% to service providers via cash or added to card.

Can I combine discounts?

Discounts, coupons, and other price adjustments cannot be combined.

Are children and guest allowed?

TRANQUILITY Spa & Beauty does not have a waiting area for children or guest not receiving services, therefore; children are not allowed in the service area. Guest who are not receiving a service is not allowed in the service area.

Is there an age limit to receiving services?

Due to liability issues and the comfort of our other guests, infants and children under the age of 12 are not permitted in our service areas. A parent or guardian must be present in the room during services and give signed consent for any treatments given to a client under the age of 18.

Can I receive services if I am pregnant?

Expectant guests may receive any facial services that do not include a peel or certain dermatological products. Once you are safely into your second trimester, pregnant guests may receive a pregnancy massage. We recommend that you check with your physician before booking any spa services. We will not perform wraps, hot stone services or deep tissue work on expectant guests.

What if I have Health/Medical concerns?

We recommend that you check with your physician before visiting for any of your health/medical concerns. Your therapist will also briefly review your health history with you before beginning your service on your initial visit with us. If (s)he believes that the service you have scheduled is unsafe based on any information given, (s)he may recommend canceling the service, booking another service or modifying the service to make it safe for you. Because our greatest concern is for your safety and comfort, we will always choose to err on the side of caution.

Due to liability issues, services providers are not allowed to assist clients with removing garments, assisting on and off the table, and/or helping with turning on the table. Any client that needs physical help must have an assistance with him/her.

TRANQUILITY Spa & Beauty reserves the right to refuse service to any guest at any time. Please notify us of any special needs or concerns when you book your services.

Please be advised, for the safety of all, we are unable to provide services to customers who are obviously intoxicated or under the influence of any mind altering substance.

Can I bring my cell phone with me?

To ensure you receive the maximum indulgences and experience for the limited moment you have to relax, we asked that you leave your devices in the car or make sure you turn your phone to silent.

Is there a place for my personal valuables?

We do encourage you not to bring any unnecessary valuables into the spa with you, as we cannot be responsible for their loss or damage, and relaxed clients are more apt to forget extra belongings after services. Depending on your personal comfort level, you can keep your valuables with you during treatment (your therapist will provide an area to place your jewelry/watches while you enjoy your services).

What is your bad weather policy?

As Tranquility Spa & Beauty works to keep our doors open six days a week; for the safety of our patrons and staff we may not open at all, close early, or open late due to inclement weather. If this should occur, the spa will work diligently to contact all schedule clients to re-schedule appointments for any unexpected closures due to ice, snow, unexpected disaster's etc. We will also post a message on our voicemail system if we are closing and/or changing our hours due to the weather. For your safety, we ask that you call ahead to make sure we are open.
